Our research

Firwood’s grade-specific program pages list elementary sessions for incoming grades 3–6, middle school for grades 6–9, and high school for grades 9–12. These are more useful booking ranges than the older 7–18 overview.

The Lake Whatcom program includes sailing, mountain biking, Bible stories, and small cabin discussions. Firwood says campers can ask questions about faith without being pressured to profess it.

Bring letters and care packages on check-in day; midweek deliveries are not accepted. Medicines go to the health aide in original packaging with the camper’s name and dosage.

The parent guide lists optional paintball at $35 per two-hour session and a $20 craft class. Scholarship applications are available through the registrar.

The displayed session dates do not state a year. A 2027 season and tuition remain unconfirmed, and the CampFactor review excludes the separate Wakesurf Shred Camp.

Before you choose

Choose a grade-specific overnight session and confirm its season before booking. Wakesurf Shred Camp has a separate format.

Confirm these details for your child’s exact session:

  • Eligible ages or grades, session dates, and whether a parent or church leader registers.
  • Total cost, additional fees, payment deadlines, and refund terms before paying a deposit.
  • Faith programming, daily schedule, and how the camp handles your child’s needs.
