Our research
Camp Allen’s FAQ groups campers by the grade they will enter in the fall: Primaries (3rd–4th), Middlers (5th–6th), Juniors (7th–8th), Seniors (9th–10th). Each campsite has its own program. Once a session, all four sites gather for an all-camp Eucharist.
The same FAQ says about one third of campers attend an Episcopal church and that Camp Allen “joyfully encourages all campers, regardless of religious beliefs or church background, to enroll.” Sessions are led by Episcopal clergy, youth ministers, or lay leaders in the diocese.
The 2027 calendar page listed tuition at $990 per session, with a $330 deposit (including a $100 registration fee) and the balance due April 1. Re-check campallen.org; we are not the registrar.
Registration details checked September 29, 2026: the 2027 calendar says registration opens October 1. Tuition remains $990 per one-week session, with a $330 nonrefundable deposit including the $100 registration fee. The remaining balance is due April 1. Use the official registration portal to check the session and space.
The FAQ says Sunday drop-off starts at 3 p.m. and Saturday pickup is 9 a.m. Every camper must leave on Saturday, including campers registered for consecutive weeks. Families seeking scholarship help must register before an application can be approved.
Before you choose
Camper groups end at entering grade 10. Families must pick up on Saturday even for back-to-back weeks, and each session includes Episcopal Christian programming.
Confirm these details for your child’s exact session:
- Eligible ages or grades, session dates, and whether a parent or church leader registers.
- Total cost, additional fees, payment deadlines, and refund terms before paying a deposit.
- Faith programming, daily schedule, and how the camp handles your child’s needs.
A detail worth knowing
Seniors stop at 10th grade. Rising 11th graders are pointed at the counselor application (must be at least 16), not another camper week. If your child is 17 and wants to be a camper, this is the wrong list.
