Our research

Sky Ranch’s Van page describes the East Texas property as the home of Sky Ranch since 1978, with a private 90-acre lake. Summer camp is organized as Sky 1 (grades 1–3), Sky 2 (4–5), Sky 3 (6–7), and Sky 4 (8–9), Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning.

The official summer camps page listed Van overnight at $1,574–$1,850 when we reviewed it. A new-camper discount page quoted regular prices of $1,784 (sessions 1–10) and $1,574 (session 11) for 2026. Treat those as Sky Ranch’s published figures, not our estimate, and re-check the pricing page before you budget.

Launch Camp (grades K–4, Mon–Fri, DFW and East Texas) is the day-camp product for kids not ready to sleep away.

Before you choose

The published Van overnight week is $1,574–$1,850 — one of the few church camps that posts a high public rate in plain sight.

Confirm these details for your child’s exact session:

Eligible ages or grades, session dates, and whether a parent or church leader registers.

A detail worth knowing

Sky Ranch’s own summer page stops traditional overnight at grade 9. High-schoolers are not in Sky 1–4. A 16-year-old looking at “Texas church camp” will bounce unless you send them to a different program (rodeo specialty or another camp).
